Getting There

Planes, Land Rovers, Boats, Mekoro… African travel has its own sort of glamour. Khwai Tented Camp is positioned under a canopy of trees on the edge of the Okavango Delta. Khwai can be accessed by 4×4 vehicles, provided the driver has experience, as road conditions can be unpredictable and extremely challenging.

The best way to Khwai is to fly via Maun which is accessible by scheduled, daily flights from Johannesburg. Khwai is also accessible from Livingstone, Zambia and Kasane, Northern Botswana. Access from Maun, Livingstone and Kasane is all by shared charter aircraft operated by our air partner, Mack Air. The African Bush Camps team will meet you at the airstrip and just a few minutes later you’ll be wondering at exotic Africa.
